Bowls

Downstems

Ash Catchers
Nobody likes scrubbing resin out of a base. An ash catcher sits between your bowl and downstem and traps debris before it hits the water, keeping your bong cleaner for longer. How do I choose the right accessories for my bong?
Start with joint size. Most of our pieces use a standard 18mm-to-14mm fitting, so finding compatible parts is hassle-free. Beyond that, think about what you want to improve - smoother hits, cleaner glass, or a completely different configuration. Whatever you’re hoping to get out of your bong, we’ll help make it happen.
Will these accessories make my bong perform better?
Absolutely. An ash catcher adds a layer of pre-filtration. A slitted downstem improves diffusion. A percolator cools the smoke further. Others (like bowls and grinders) come down more to personal preference and convenience than raw performance. They’re essential, but not necessarily a “performance booster.” We can confidently say ours are in a league of their own, though, as far as quality and design goes.
What size bowl do I need?
Check your joint size. Our bongs use a 14mm male bowl that fits into the 18mm-to-14mm downstem. If you're buying one from us, it's already sized to work with the system - no guesswork necessary.
Is an ash catcher worth it?
Yes - if you're tired of cleaning your bong after every couple of sessions. It traps debris before anything reaches the water chamber, stretching the time between deep cleans. It’s way easier to clean your ash catcher than the entire bong (although our modular system makes bong cleaning effortless). The Athos and Linea also add a layer of water filtration, so you get smoother hits on top of a cleaner piece.
How much water should I fill the base of my bong with?
Enough to submerge the bottom of the downstem by about ½”-1”. If water reaches your mouth, you've overfilled it. If you hear rattling instead of bubbling, add more. A little trial and error and you'll find the sweet spot for your setup.
Should I add a percolator to my bong?
A percolator is one of the best upgrades you can make for super smooth hits. It adds another stage of water filtration and cooling between the base and the mouthpiece. Our modular system lets you stack one on and connect it with a ring - no new bong needed.
How do I care for my bong accessories?
Rinse glass pieces with warm water after each session to keep buildup from hardening. Isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt do the job for a deeper clean - soak, shake, rinse. Our cleaning caps and universal plugs seal off openings so you can shake without making a mess. Keep everything clean and it'll last.
